Dorsey seeks a tax associate to join the Tax, Trusts & Estates group in our Minneapolis office. This associate will work on a wide range of transactional and controversy matters. Transactional matters include structuring and forming business and investment entities and advising on tax issues in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, restructurings, and securities offerings. Controversy matters include federal, state, local and tribal tax controversy matters relating to individual and corporate income, sales and use, and other types of tax at various procedural levels, including the examination phase, administrative appeals, litigation and collection actions.
The following qualifications are required:
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Minnesota bar admission
One to four years of experience as a tax attorney is preferred.
