Senior Insurance Litigation Attorney (Fully Remote Opportunity Available)

Robins Kaplan LLP is seeking an experienced senior attorney to join our Insurance Catastrophic Loss / Litigation Practice group. We are looking for a candidate with at least 8+ years of experience handling complex insurance coverage matters and related litigation, with first-party property insurance experience strongly preferred. This role can be fully remote, hybrid remote, or fully onsite. 

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience analyzing coverage issues, advising insurer clients on high-exposure claims, and litigating disputes that arise from catastrophic losses and other complex first-party property matters. Experience with bad faith claims, large-loss property matters, and technically complex cases is preferred.

We’re looking for a team player with exceptional research and writing skills; strong academic credentials; excellent oral and written communication skills; wide-ranging litigation experience, including depositions and pre-trial motion practice and handling high-exposure and technically complex cases.  Responsibilities include managing a high-volume and sophisticated docket, handling all phases of litigation, and working closely with partners and clients on coverage analysis, strategy, motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and related matters.

Bar admission in states in which you are or have been licensed to practice is required. California admission is a plus.

Los Angeles Salary Range: $260,000 - $285,000 annually. Ultimately, work location, experience, and other job-related factors will be used to determine compensation.
