The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.

This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.
The Civil Rights Specialist supports OEEO in implementing Title II of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) relating to nondiscrimination based on disability in state and local government services as well as Council Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity and equity and diversity objectives and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Any of the following combinations in completed education (degree field of study in public administration, public policy, law-related field, sociology, ethnic and multicultural studies, public engagement, or related field) and experience (in a civil rights or ADA enforcement field, public policy, or community engagement):
Salary Range: $79,580.80 - $129,064.00 Annually
