Robins Kaplan LLP has an opportunity for an associate with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice in our Minneapolis office. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials and two to six years of complex litigation and/or class action experience, including antitrust experience. Strong research and writing skills are required. Candidates with law journal editorial and/or federal clerkship experience are preferred.  Candidates with plaintiff-side experience are preferred.

We’re looking for a team player with litigation skills, including:

  • Exceptional research and writing skills and strong academic credentials;
  • Wide-ranging litigation experience helpful, including drafting complaints, drafting motions and responses, discovery, depositions, work with experts, and trial(s);
  • Expertise in case investigation, development, research, and management;
  • Federal judicial clerkship a plus;
  • Bar admission or eligibility for bar admission in Minnesota required;

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with our antitrust litigation team to identify and investigate potential cases;
  • Case and client management through all stages of litigation;
  • Opportunity for substantive litigation and trial experience;
  • Work collegially with other members of the antitrust bar;
  • A wide variety of other tasks associated with complex antitrust litigation and trials.

Minneapolis Salary Range: $200,000 – $235,000 annually. Ultimately, work location, experience, and other job-related factors will be used to determine compensation.
