Attorney

Nichols Kaster, PLLP - Minneapolis, MN
Full-time
Salary: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 Annually
Application Deadline: N/A

Nichols Kaster, PLLP’s employee rights practice team fights for the rights of employees in a wide range of employment disputes in state and federal court, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Our team takes on employers of all sizes and is dedicated to ensuring that employees have the dedicated legal representation they deserve when employers violate their rights.

Our employee rights practice team is currently seeking an Attorney with litigation experience. In this role, you will litigate both group and individual employment discrimination cases in federal courts against major U.S. railroads. These cases are interesting, dynamic, and can be quite complex. Some involve single plaintiffs, while others involve working with multiple plaintiffs and a federal agency.

We seek creative, motivated, and socially conscious attorneys who want to use the law to fight injustice and make change. Associates at Nichols Kaster take an active role in managing their own cases; communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court; writing, responding to, and arguing motions; taking and defending depositions; and participating in trials. Our associates have the opportunity to gain this valuable, real-world experience much earlier in their careers than is typical. Our associates are on the front lines of active litigation and find the practice both challenging and rewarding.

You will be supported in this position by some of Nichols Kaster’s most experienced trial lawyers and staff, offering an unparalleled learning opportunity. You will also be part of a nationally recognized law firm of over 30 attorneys that, for nearly 50 years, has been dedicated to righting all manner of wrongs and fighting for accountability on behalf of employees, consumers, and citizens against the powerful interests of employers, corporations, and governments. We are also fortunate to have world-class support staff with expertise in class and individual litigation, e-discovery, and technology.

At Nichols Kaster, we believe that diversity in all forms improves every workplace and makes every organization better. Nichols Kaster is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive work environment for our employees and to bringing a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to our work.  We encourage members of diverse communities to apply.
